Hello everyone! I'd like to engage in some discussion with the group here, and hear your thoughts. We're considering updating or revamping the software's reporting capabilities in the future. What would you like to see us add or do to improve reporting in YM? 

Have you considered having reporting on pages, such as how many hits a page receives? I know I can get that data from GA4 but I'm not finding the new analytics platform as user friendly as the old one. Also, I submitted a ticket to support months ago about click-back tracking, which has never worked for me, and is really important data to access for me and especially for reporting back to advertisers. For the current YM reporting/queries tab I find that pretty confusing, too. It needs to be condensed and streamlined somehow. Why is it necessary to select an "area of interest"? Why is there a "area of interest" "directory" when one can get that information under the Directory and CRM tab. There seems to be duplication between the reporting/queries tab and the Directory & CRM queries. I don't know maybe I'm missing something. We've been with YM since the beginning of the year. It just is so much more complicated than it needs to be. Our last AMS had a much simpler way of building reports and it covered everything we needed. Christine

A simple way to pull all current members--maybe a drag and drop query builder so that we can select certain, existing member types. I also like the idea of a page hit count. 

Folders instead of area of interest for being able to more easily narrow down list by categories that make sense to us. The ability to rename columns, we currently have an FAQ for our chapter leaders just to translate YM column header language. Ability to create detailed reports across an event category and not just for individual events (This is something support said was not possible and that I should just pull EACH event individually then combine the list myself). When scheduling a report for email frequency, that it doesn't send a blank report, it only sends when there is data to be reviewed.

It would be nice to have the ability to run a report by member number. I can only find constituent ID.

There was a YM reporting roundtable in 2021 - maybe some good ideas in those notes?
