This may not be the right place to post this, but is there anything in the works to stop making "United States" the default Country on the "Event Basics" tab? It wouldn't be as big a deal if I didn't have to go back to that page multiple time to update event info and then have to re-select "Country" from the drop down each time and re-save it. (I realize this is low priority

I 100% agree with you and support this, Shelley! This is extremely U.S.-centric and for an international organization like mine, making a change would be extremely helpful. And it's not only with the "Events Basics" tab, it's also with member registrations as the "United States" is the default country for personal and organization information. As such, this truly negatively affects the accuracy of our member data if members do not pay attention to it during the registration process. I highly encourage YourMembership to change this. Thanks for bringing it up!

Agree that once you save the event basics, you should not have to re-select every time that tab is accessed.  We have virtual event and don't want United States, or any country, in that field.

Thanks William and Sharon, I had a feeling I wasn't the only one this affected as we, too, are international and have many virtual events as well.

I agree with the above comments, the default option should be blank.
