Getting back to the original idea... customized invoices would be a major plus! We e-mail and snail-mail renewal invoices but it's done outside of YM because we want the invoice that is created in YM to look at least similar to the ones we snail-mail which were created by our design team.

I just found this thread - yes, I would love to see customized invoices. They make sense on the back-end but not to the members or their organizations. Total paid is not lining up with actual paid amounts.

I would vote yes for this as well - would also like to see the ability to create custom export templates as well.

Hi Jill. Is this request for customizing the export due to the amount of data or the number of columns in the invoice exports? I am curious as to what you would want to customize. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great idea AND we also need custom data fields for the transaction (invoice) rather than static, member data fields. For example, we would like to track deliverables associated with our sponsorship invoices and so would need a description field of agreed to deliverables (x number of free memberships, logo placements, etc) and then another description field for tracking whether deliverables had been completed. We'd also like to choose a YM Group in each invoice.

It would be super helpful, if a several customizable invoice templates would be available for events. In our case for example, we are selling publications as well as events. Our events take place in different countries and for each country different text needs to be added to the invoice template in regards to taxes. This tax text however should not be on the invoice of our publications. So while we are selling event tickets we have an issue when someone orders a publication as the tax language is not correct on that invoice.
Is there any way an additional event invoice tamplate could be added to the system?
To give you an example, this is the kind of text our event invoices need to have when we are organising an event in Italy: art. 7-quinquies, co.1, lett. a) Presidential Decree no. 633/72 with regard to no taxable person and
art. 7-quinquies, co.1, lett. b) Presidential Decree no. 633/72 with regard to taxable person
This text is not suitable for the publications we send and if the next event is in a different country then the text changes again.

I would love to have customizable invoices. Not just one customizable invoice. I would like the option to be able to customize it to a particular membership and save it to that membership. We have members from 80+ countries. It would be nice to be able to customize a few additional templates for geographical sections. Thoughts of what I would customize on them: a message in another language, remittance address and contact info (some chapters and sections of membership should send their dues to chairman or treasurer of their section to make transfer to head office in one transaction to help with currency exchange and pay a wire fee only one time ). The current template with the ineffective and confusing debit and credit lines does not work for anyone. It would be nice to be able to customize for many, many reasons. Currently, the message for Canada members regarding C$ and USD$ goes to everyone, not just Canada members as there is only ONE template!

Also, I want to turn off auto-renew on one membership. But, only one dues payment notification template is available. Per YM functions: Auto-renew is automatic if the member pays by CC. Members do not sign up for or consent to this auto-renew. The dues payment notification has been customized explaining to members if they used a CC, they are now on auto-renew and how to turn it off if they don't want it. But, since there is only ONE - it would still tell people they are on auto-renew regardless if their membership is set to allow or not allow auto-renew. The functionality of allowing or not allowing auto-renew by membership is there per membership. But, the functionality/customizing doesn't work anywhere else!! FRUSTRATING!
