Credit Card Fees Survey - We'd love to hear from you!

The YM Product Team is looking for a little feedback from our Admins. We've setup a quick 3 question survey to gather a little more information about having the credit card fees passed onto your members for transactions that are paid with a card. Completed. I indicated "No" to all. Credit card fees are a cost of doing business and a cost for convenience for both parties. I'd rather see people cover the fees in their pricing.

Completed, and agree with Amy. We roll the fees into our overall costs because we prefer people pay via credit card, waiting for checks is awful and if we itemized out the fees vs. the event cost, our members would be required by their organizations to pay via check. That would be terrible for processing on our end. Thanks for asking!

Hi all, I am definitely one of those "You gotta spend money to make money" people myself, too! We've had quite a few Admins ask about this though, so we wanted to gather as much feedback as possible about it over the next week or so. Thank you both for providing your opinions! We look forward to seeing the results of the survey at the end. :)

I also agree with Amy (answered no to all 3 questions, believe it is a cost of doing business and should be roll into pricing).

We rolled those cost into our dues for everyone, even those paying by check. Rationale: Those who pay by check are more work anyway, so let them help pay the fees for e-processing. Before that, we did pass on the transaction fees for those paying electronically.
