I'm wondering if any discussion or thought has been had regarding the icons used in various locations on the backend member profiles. For instance, when members are viewing their invoices, the icon to view and print the invoice is a dollar bill. That makes absolutely no sense to me. It would be incredibly nice to be able to synchronize the icons we use on the front end of our site with the back end. But if that isn't possible, it would be nice for the icons to make more sense.

Additionally, they have a very old look to them and are very tiny. Is there any talk of modernizing the look of the backend?

Hi Josie,

Thank you for this suggestion! As we continue to enhance the different areas of the product, we do take icons into consideration to bring more uniformity into the updates being made. We will make a note about this specific icon and it may be something we address in a future update.

To gather additional feedback about this -- Updating the icon to a Printer might make the most sense, however, it would still lack the uniformity within the backend because we're using a Monitor icon in its place (although the backend offers more functionality to Admins). In this case, do you think it would make the most sense to go with a more member-friendly Printer icon or would the Monitor also make sense and offer the uniformity you're looking for within the front and backend of the site?

I'd love to see others chime in on this topic because Carson and I are very interested in improving the Admin and Member experiences in the future. :)

Thanks in advance!

I agree with Josie and thank you for making the suggestion about changing the icon to a Printer. That does make sense to me and would unify the back and front ends and make it easier for the member. I love this community because of all of the wonderful ideas for enhancements everyone has and how responsive the YM Product Team is! :) Thanks, everyone!

This has definitely prompted us to start looking at the icons and questioning whether or not they make the most sense moving forward -- so we REALLY appreciate the feedback you all are sharing with us.
