Membershp Invoice Transfer
Is there anyway to transfer just certain membership invoices from one person to another? If not, is it possible for YM to maybe develop this because we need to be able to transfer certain membership invoices and not all from one person to another. Because right now I have to transfer invoices from one person to another and I don't want to transfer these 2 invoices that were from another company that should stay with the one person. You have the capability to select which regular invoices you want to transfer from one person to another, why can't you make the membership invoices have the same functions. Thanks.

Hi Kim, there is not currently a way to transfer single Dues invoices from one member to another. This functionality doesn't exist for the Membership Invoices because there is a lot of historical tracking tied into the dues invoices, unlike with a store order or a donations invoice. If there is a single Dues invoice that would need to be moved over to another member, we would recommend creating a new Dues transaction for the correct member and applying the payment/credit administratively to that invoice. The original invoice can then be "refunded" and a note can be made to state that the payment was applied to the new invoice # for the other member account. I hope this helps!

Right that is the whole reason it would be nice to be able to move invoices individually because I have this person who was a primary contact for this company membership, she must have moved on to another company and joined PLTA as the primary contact for another company. So while I don't want to move the first 2 membership invoices, I wanted to move the last 4 to the new primary contact of the company. So what I actually did was made pdfs of the membership invoices and attach them under her "Additional Info" tab. I then transferred the invoices to the new person and deleted the 2 invoices that weren't hers. I still feel that we should be able to move individual membership invoices so that we have a better paper trail for membership.
