Assigning Reminders
Am I missing a notification an admin receives when a reminder is assigned to him/her? Or when a contact form is assigned to him/her? The only workaround I can come up with for reminders is that the assigner sets the due date as the next day or two days after so the assignee receives the admin alert. Also, could the upcoming reminder under the Welcome menu also be positioned under Alerts & Actions on the admin dashboard? How are others using this functionality?

You are not missing a notification - the notification is for future reminders - It would be nice if instead of Upcoming reminders, it was just Reminders with the Red, Yellow, Green options like it used to be and having it on the dashboard would be icing on the cake.

Thanks Heather, I was afraid I was going crazy!!

If there were a way to have, for lack of a better term, an "in your face" way of showing admins what they need to address, that would be so helpful. It's easy to say "add another notification." The workaround we are using internally for sending reminders is setting the due date in the future so the alert is triggered, but that only works for reminders, not contact forms.

I think this is a powerful tool within the system and is likely underutilized. That's just my supposition based on my own experience though.
