I mentioned it in my initial email when I introduced myself. I
have been gathering requirements for updating the reporting system. The
UI will be updated but the underlying data structure will also be
updated.The thought is to let the user start with beginning
reports that are specific.
For example, we may have reports that total
revenue per active Event. To only get the totals for your specific event
or events you would only need to add a condition for the event name or
names.
In addition to UI updates I am going through the reporting
system to determine what fields we need to add. I find it difficult to
get a total of store orders as I have to run the report with all invoice
item types and then determine the best field to aggregrate.
We can make
this better and we will.
